BORGHETTO
The foundation of Borghetto, a village that was formerly called Scandolara (from Scandola, scale or wooden board, for the presence of woods from which tiles were obtained for roofing), is due to the abundance of water present in the territory that characterizes it.
The particular geo-physical configuration of Borghetto has made this place formerly become a crossroads of important communication arteries and pilgrimage stages on the axis from Rome, allowing commercial and cultural exchanges to make the settlement an important part of the Romanization process of the area.
ORATORIO SAN MASSIMO
Address: Via Borghetto, Villa del Conte (PD)
Tel: +39 335 5930093 (custode)
The Church of San Massimo in Borghetto, which was rebuilt in 2003, can be found in Villa del Conte in the countryside of Upper Padua.
From its inception in the 10th century to the present day, it has undergone various interventions, such as a significant extension towards the west in 1577 and the construction of the bell tower in the nineteenth century.
The small country church has undergone a significant renovation since the end of the eighties. In the apse vault, it was discovered that an important fresco from the sixteenth century had been hidden for centuries under the lime covering inside the oratory.

CAMPOSAMPIERO
It rises about 30 kilometers north of Padua. Of Roman foundation but medieval layout, it boasts numerous historical monuments, the most important of which are related to the brief stay of St. Anthony of Padua. These are the Sanctuary of the Walnut Tree, built in the 15th century on the site of a walnut tree that the saint climbed while preaching to the peasants, and the Sanctuary of the Vision, where he stayed before his death in 1231.

ASOLO
Asolo is a very small agricultural and artisan center in the province of Treviso and is a member of the Club dei Borghi più Belli d'Italia.
Its name recalls the splendor of the court of Caterina Cornaro, who became Queen of Cyprus and ceded the island to the Serenissima Republic, receiving Asolo in exchange. The symbol of Asolo is the Rocca, which dominates the landscape from the top of Monte Ricco, offering a spectacular view. Gathered within the ancient walls that branch off from the Rocca, a 12th century fortress, it preserves in every glimpse evidence of its thousand-year history. Asolo, an enchanting place on the rolling hills of Asolo, was a destination for poets and writers, artists and travelers, who found inspiration and harmony here.
Among them were the English poet Robert Browning, the Divina of the theater Eleonora Duse, the composer Gian Francesco Malipiero and the English writer and traveler Freya Stark. A visit to Asolo allows you to combine a taste for history and culture with the pleasures of the table.
